UGC NET Questions (Paper – 1)

The policy restructures HEIs into three types based on their functions. Type 1 focuses on research and teaching, Type 2 primarily on high-quality teaching with some research and Type 3 on degree-granting colleges that may evolve into universities. Affiliation is to be phased out over time.
